Time to Get Your Home Ready to Sell for Top Dollar!

Edge, mow and fertilize your lawn.  Consider a tree swing if possible.

Either re-seed sparse areas or lay down new sod & freshen the flower beds.

Prune your trees away from roof and bushes away from windows.

Don't forget to trim overgrown hedges and weed flowerbeds and fresh plants.

Seal cracks in driveway, steps, walkways, walls and patios.

Power-wash the exterior. 

Clean out gutters and align downspouts. 

Chemical wash the roof if needed.

Remove driveway stains and paint the garage floor and walls.

Keep walks and driveway swept daily.

Wash the windows and screens inside and out.

Hire a cleaning service to help clean the interior if needed.

Paint ceilings and walls neutral colors for maximum buyer appeal. 

Repair cracked tiles and clean grout lines. 

Repair any damage or holes in drywall.  

Replace any cracked windows, and repair damaged woodwork.

Repair leaking faucets and showerheads. Unclog slow drains.

Shampoo carpets, scrub and wax linoleum or wood floors.

Clean out the fireplace and lay some logs or candles in it.

Replace torn screens.

Clean sliding glass door tracks and window sills.

Replace light fixtures with bright light bulbs.  

Make sure all windows open easily. 

Lubricate squeaking doors including garage door.

Clean all appliances most especially the refrigerator and oven.

Replace old shower curtains and toilet seats. 

Make sure grout in shower is clean without mildew.
